ELECTROLYTIC COPPER FOIL, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To provide an electrolytic copper foil having an excellent tensile strength and elongation rate, and a method of manufacturing the same. CONSTITUTION: A twin crystal structure exists in this electrolytic copper foil and chlorine is taken into this twin crystal structure. The concentration of the chlorine included in the copper foil is 50 to 180 ppm. This method of manufacturing the electrolytic copper foil consists of manufacturing the electrolytic copper foil at a liquid temperature of 40 to 60°C and electrolytic current density of 30 to 75 A/dm2 by using an electrolyte which has a copper concentration within the range from 60 to 85 g/L, a sulfuric acid concentration within the range from 100 to 250 g/L, contains chloride ions in an amount of 1 to 3 ppm and is prepared by being added with a gelatin-based additive at an amount of 0.3 to 5 ppm.
