DOUBLE SIDED ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DISPLAY FOR DISPLAYING INFORMATION THROUGH BOTH SIDES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A double sided organic electroluminescence display and method for manufacturing the same is provided to display information through both sides of the display by attaching transparent electrodes to both surfaces of the display. CONSTITUTION: A double sided organic electroluminescence display comprises a glass substrate(10); a transparent anode electrode(20) formed onto the glass substrate, and which injects hole by applying a positive voltage to an organic layer(30) and induces the light emitted from a light emitting layer to be radiated through the front surface of the substrate; an insulator(50) deposited between the anode electrode and a cathode electrode(40), and which divides sub pixels so as to allow each sub pixel to radiate different colors; the organic layer disposed onto the center of the anode electrode, and which is constituted by the light emitting layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, a hole transport layer and a hole injection layer; the cathode electrode disposed onto the insulator, and which receives a negative voltage and supplies electrons to the organic layer; and a cathode connection metal(60) deposited onto the cathode electrode, and which serves as a transparent electrode like a-ITO or IXO and induces the light emitted from the light emitting layer to be radiated in the rear direction from the substrate.
