The hoeing tool for use between rows of vines is mounted in front of a tractor and has blades (10, 11) attached to the ends of arms (2, 3) mounted on pivots (4, 5) at the tractor end. Guides (6, 7) with curved front ends (8, 9) are fitted outside the blades and the arms are connected by an air spring (12) which biases the arms towards the rows.
