<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand brake for a trailer for transportation of a motor boat for leisure, in which positive brake performance can be demonstrated with compact configuration and simple operation. SOLUTION: A slide bar 4 having an oblong hole 4d is connected slidably in an axle shaft direction to a base plate 3 of a bracket fixed on the axle shaft by inserting bolt nut 32, a brake pad 7 is held on a perpendicular part 4b formed on one end of the slide bar, another end thereof is made as a contact end, the slide bar is continuously urged toward the contact end by arranging a spring 8 between the perpendicular part and the bolt nut, a bar handle 6 having an arc-shaped cam part 6a pressable against the contact end is held revolvably at 6b to the base plate, and the other end of the bar handle is linked to a hand brake handle 10 by a wire 9.</p> |
