<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide association type toner and a method for manufacturing the toner consisting of resin having specified mol.wt. distribution and no dispersion in the composition, mol.wt. and surface characteristics among the toner particles and to provide association type toner and a method for manufacturing the toner excellent in resistance against pulverization and producing no fine powder which is the factor of filming, fog, carrier spent or the like even when the toner is used for image formation for a long time. SOLUTION: The toner is obtained by salting-out/melting composite resin particles obtained by a multistage polymerization method and coloring agent particles, and contains a release agent and/or crystalline polyester in the region except for the outermost layer of the composite resin particles. The toner contains resin, release agent and coloring agent and has 0.1 to 0.8 pulverization strength index.</p> |
