PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a plurality of windings provided in a stator assembly in an electrical machine such as a DC motor or a generator, thereby facilitating the manufacture thereof. SOLUTION: A stator is formed by using a series of conductive blades disposed around the inner axis of a stator core. Electrical interconnection between the conductive blades is obtained by a series of discs connected to the ends of the blades. Preferably, interconnection of the circuits between the blades is made possible, by forming the discs out of an insulating base material with a conductive pad thereon. A desired current path is obtained, by disposing the desired number of windings and phases of blades and conductive pads properly on the disc. |
