PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid leak sensor which can be detected stably at all times as to whether or not the liquid leak sensor is in a normal setting state irrespective of a surface state of a face to sink. SOLUTION: In a state with the liquid leak sensor not being set correctly to a supporting cylinder 10 (jig), constituents 100 and 101 are separated, whereby a normal optical path connecting a light-emitting part 50 and a light-receiving part 51 is cut. As a result, even when a light is emitted from the light-emitting part 50, the light is not received by the light-receiving part 51. A light detection signal based on a light reception intensity of the light-receiving part 51 becomes lower than a reference level. A detecting signal similar to a signal when a liquid leak takes place is outputted, from which it is detected that the liquid leak sensor is not in the normal setting state. |
