PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device capable of speeding up processing when generating a blur-controlled image from the plural images different in focal distance. SOLUTION: It is selected whether a fully focused image focused to respective different objects is to be generated or blur-controlled image controlled in the blur condition of an object such as foreground or background is to be generated. When generating the fully focused image, an image focused to each of objects is acquired and the acquired image is used, then the fully focused image is prepared. Besides, when generating the blur-controlled image, images less than the number of images in fully focused image processing such as two images focused to the closest and farthest objects, for example, are acquired and these acquired images are used, then the blur-controlled image is generated. Thus, the blur-controlled image can be processed at a high speed. |
