PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the shutter member of a magnetic disk cartridge from opening improperly. SOLUTION: An inwardly bent piece 58 is formed on one end of the linking plate part 53 of a shutter member 5 for performing the opening operation of the shutter member 5 by abutting on a shutter opening and closing lever. A locking member 60 to lock the shutter member 5 in a closed position by engaging with the bent piece 58 is fixed on the leading edge of a base plate 2.
