PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost by abolishing a leaf spring or the like conventionally used as a fixing means of a feed screw shaft in the axial direction in a disk drive having the feed crew shaft in a pickup feed mechanism to displace an optical pickup device in the radial direction of a disk to a base unit chassis. SOLUTION: The base unit chassis 21 is integrally provided with a pressing piece part 60 for pressing one end 26a of the feed screw shaft to fix the feed screw shaft in the axial direction.
