PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for driving a louver part in a funnel, in which down-washing phenomenon is positively suppressed by keeping a rate of opening in a louver part, and the strength against wind and vibration is improved in a funnel having an improved appearance. SOLUTION: An outer cover is provided to the outside of an exhaust port at a flue top to impart an appearance to the flue, and a louver part is provided adjacent to the top. The louver part comprises a plurality of louvers placed parallel with each other along the periphery of the outer cover. Each louver is rotatably supported by a pivot. The louver part is driven so as to have an opening rate which is output from a louver controller, which outputs the rate based on a coefficient of down washing calculated from wind and flue-gas velocities.
