PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop device of unconventional new structure capable of easily fixing an open door. SOLUTION: This door stop device 1 has a device body 2. The device body 2 has a locking shaft 25 fitted to one side of the door 50 and lockable into a locking recessed part 51 formed in a floor face or the like. The locking shaft 25 is provided with an operating means 20 for moving the locking shaft 25 from a non-locking position into a locking position, in the state of projecting from the device body 2. The device body 2 is provided with a holding means 45 for holding the operating means 20 or the locking shaft 25 in the locking position where the locking shaft 25 is locked into the locking recessed part, and in the non-locking position where the locking shaft 25 is not locked.
