Refractory casting nozzle (11) is replaceably held by its body, in a support frame (12). The frame has guide strips (14) on each side, accommodating guide rails (7, 7'). The frame holds the nozzle in close sealing contact with the sink block (3). Guide rails, movement actuator and an annular seal (20') for a bellows (31) are mounted on the interchangeable base plate (10) of the intermediate vessel (2). The annular seal surrounds the guide rails. A cylinder external to this seal, drives the moving unit.
