<p>The security is improved by transmitting personal identification information of low risk than the credit card number to the customer when the customer purchases a commodity over the Internet. The customer accesses the Web page of the shop through a personal computer or a portable telephone (10), makes an operation for the purchase, and transmits, e.g., the telephone number of the portable telephone of the customer as identification information to a server (50). The telephone company receives the telephone number from the server, check if the customer is a rightful subscriber, and sends, if rightful, a telephone number exclusively used for the payment. The customer calls the telephone number, confirms the purchase, and pays for the purchase. As additional information, the mail address given to the customer for the payment in advance can be used.</p> |
