An armored car (1) has armored elements designed as add-on parts and/or integral parts for body sections, inner cladding parts and/or window panes. The features are: (a) The body is formed in the style of a combi-vehicle or small bus derived from a manufacturing in series. (b) In the inside of the car, a flat armored element (8) is provided for the compartmentalization of a passenger space (4) from a loading space (3), which extends between a roof cladding (12) and an armored back seat wall (11). Between the back seat wall and the flat armored element, an overlap is provided. The flat armored element is constructed as an armored glass pane.
