A drum-type fabric dyeing machine has its drum subdivided into sections by radial partitions. The partitions are connected to the drum wall by narrow perforated strips through which the dyeing liquor is discharged. The drum wall and the partition are unperforated. The partitions are connected to a perforated pipe at the center of the drum through which the dying liquor is introduced.
