Facsimile data to which conversion parameters, i.e. sub-numbers and parentheses are added is inputted from a facsimile unit (20) and transmitted to a server unit (30) through a fixed telephone network (10). The server unit (30) converts the facsimile data into data conforming to description specifications concerned with an internet function with reference to the sub-numbers and parentheses and sets the converted data as data concerned with a home page of the Internet (12).
