A circumferentially continuous arrangement which is to be worn preferably on the wrist has a strap (7a, 7b) and a hinged closure (1) which serves for changing the circumferential extent of the arrangement. The hinged closure (1) has a central closure part (3) and at least one toggle lever (11a, 11b) which is connected to the closure part in one end region and has a strap end (5a, 5b) fastened at its other end region. The collapsible toggle lever (11a, 11b, which is connected in each case to the strap end (5a, 5b) and is circumferentially offset with respect to the central closure part (3), and the central closure part (3) are designed and connected to one another such that, for the direct transition from the closed state of the hinged closure (1) to the open state, the central closure part (3) has to be moved outward. This arrangement, firstly, is closed reliably in a shortened-circumference state by the hinged closure, secondly, can easily be opened to increase the circumference and, thirdly, has an aesthetically pleasing appearance, in particular, in the closed state.
