<p>The invention concerns a device for planishing a band saw blades (2) or the like, comprising means for continuously driving (1) the blade (2), means for detecting (3) deformations of the blade (2) and planishing means (6). The invention is characterised in that the detecting means (3) consists of position sensors (4) integral with a table (5) positioned underneath the blade (2), said sensors (4) being uniformly spaced on a line transverse to the forward moving direction of the blade (2), and the planishing means (6) consist of hammers (9) co-operating with an anvil (8) positioned underneath the blade (2), such that, when a sensor (4) detects a deformation of the surface of the blade (2) body, the hammer (9) corresponding to said sensor (4) is actuated to even out the deformation.</p> |
