The double joint (1) has a first and a second joint arrangement (2,2') connected via a double fork (3). Each arrangement has first fork arms (4,5), connected to the double fork and having first eye bores. The double fork has a ring-shaped sealing surface extending to the inner surfaces of the first fork arms. A cardan joint fork (9) has two second fork arms (7,8) with second eye bores. A cardan joint unit (6) has a joint with two first journals, held in the first eye bores, and second journals, held in the second eye bores. A spherical cap (10) is fixed to the cardan joint fork and has a convex outer surface acting with the sealing surface of the double fork. A cover (11) acts sealing with part of the cap.
