The present invention relates to quinoline derivatives of Formula (I), where in A, R1, R2 and R3 have the value given in the specification. The compounds ar e useful as inhibitors of COX-II and, therefore, may be used for the treatment of a disease treatable by administration of a selective COX-II inhibitor, su ch as an inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease.
