The axle arrangement for individually suspended, sprung rear wheels (14,15) of a motor vehicle has a control device which with a positional change (L2,L3) of the fixed points (2c,3c) of link components (2,3) relative to the body of the vehicle effects a displacement of each steering rod (9,9') at right angles to the vehicle's longitudinal axis relative to the connecting point (2a,3a) of the respective link component to the wheel carrier (10,11) by a length (d) dependent upon the positional change.
