The toothed gear has a central body (32) and outer teeth (34) with an outer peripheral section of the teeth extend mainly parallel to the rotary axis of the pulley. The teeth have a meshing circular arc-shaped profile, with a central part (38) at a distance to end sections (36,40) next to opposite ends of the pulley body. The profile is centered on a common radius.
