摘要 A variable signal (VS) is applied to the first comparator input and the initiation signal (VTRIP) is produced at its output. A first circuit produces a first current (I1+I2) as a function of the temperature. A second circuit produces a second current (I3), normally zero, as a function of the battery voltage (VBATT) droop below a predefined battery voltage threshold (BVT). First- (I1+I2) and second (I3) currents are combined at a second input of the comparator to define a reference level (VTH), at which the initiation signal (VTRIP) alters state in response to the variable input signal (VS). An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of producing the reference voltage for the ignition circuit.
