The invention relates to a method for the production of a semiconducting organic layered structure for application in an electronic circuit, in particular, a logic and or memory circuit. A substrate is coated with a solution or dispersion with a low proportion of an organic compound to a wet layer thickness and a thin organic layer adhering to the substrate with semiconducting properties is produced by means of drying, whereby the dry layer thickness, by comparison with the wet layer thickness is significantly thinner, in particular by an order of magnitude or more. Said drying occurs by means of a brief irradiation with electromagnetic radiation, the essentially effective component of which is in the near infra-red region, in particular, in the range between 0.8 and 1.5 mu m. |
