<p>Title cpds. of formula (I) (where R1 is H, halogen, lower alkyl, alkylthio or alkoxy, CF3, NO2, NH2, CN or acetamido; R2 is 1-naphthyl, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-5-naphthyl or 5-indanyl opt. subst. in the aromatic ring by halogen, lower alkyl, alkylthio or alkoxy, CF3, NO2, NH2, CN or acetamido; and R3 is H or lower acyl; with the proviso that R2 is not subst. by NH2 when R3 is lower acyl) and their salts with acids are prepared by condensing a compound of formula (II) with a compound of formula (III) (where X is a residue which is split off under the reaction conditions to form XH, e.g. Cl, Br, I or the acid residue of an organic sulphonic acid) in an inert solvent in the presence of an acid binding agent and opt. converting the product into an acid addn. salt. Products in which R3 is H, R1 is other than NH2, and R2 is not substd. by NH2 may be reacted with cpds. furnishing a lower acyl residue so as to yield corresponding cpds. in which R3 is acyl.</p> |
