The invention relates to a mouse trap (1) comprising a striking lid (10) which is linked to a base plate (2). Said lid can be brought to a catching position by means of the tension of a striker spring (20). The inventive mouse trap also comprises a trigger mechanism (5) embodied in the form of a seesaw, a slight tilting movement thereof releasing the striking lid (10) from the catching position, causing the striking lid (10), which is driven by the striker spring (20), to strike. The aim of the invention is to increase triggerability. In order to achieve this, the trigger mechanism (5) releases the striking lid (10) in both tilting directions. |
