A structurally improved burner (2) for liquid fuel combustion apparatuses is disclosed. The burner (2) has a burner body (3) consisting of a liquid fuel injection nozzle (4), a firing rod (5), and a temperature sensor (6). This burner body (3) is installed at a position around the inlet end of a combustion tub (1) of a selected liquid fuel combustion apparatus. A preheating pipe (16) extends from the combustion air supply fan (15) to the burner body and is set within the inlet end of the combustion tub (1). A heat shielding plate (8) is interposed between the combustion tub and the rear portion of the burner in back of the burner body, thus shielding and protecting selected parts of the burner from heat of the combustion tub. <IMAGE> |
