The invention relates to a plastic surface with a coating applied by a thermal spraying technique and a method for production thereof. According to the invention, the coating may be zinc, zinc alloys, aluminium alloys and/or materials which are exothermic during the spraying process. The coating with good adhesion is particularly applied as a wear-resistant layer by means of arc-spraying, flame spraying or cold-gas spraying. The invention finds application, above all, in sports equipment with a coated plastic surface, in particular, in golf clubs (preferably in striking surfaces with a thermally sprayed coating). |
