<p>Polymers for use as barrier films which are resistive to, for example, insect repellants are disclosed. By applying a barrier film over the skin and applying an insect repellant thereto, the problem of chemical reaction of the insect repellant with the skin is overcome. Also disclosed is an insect repellant applicator kit comprising an insect repellant and a barrier composition comprising a dermatologically inactive film-forming polymer and a carrier therefore.</p> |
