PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing characters, graphics or the like to be printed with the manuscript color accurately reproduced, in the case a printing medium other than that of a white color is used in a color printer device without suffering the influence of the color or the pattern thereof. SOLUTION: A printer device capable of not only expressing with a color as a mixture of three or four basic colors but also using a color ink of a targeted color itself called a specific color (for example, a color hardly expressed by a combination of colors, such as gold, silver, and a fluorescent color is often used) is used. A printing medium 1' of an optional color other than white is set in the printer device. In order not to print the color of character and graphic information in a background 1 part corresponding to the printing medium, color designation is executed for the background 1 part. Then, the image data of the part with the color designation are logically inverted. Based on the inverted image data, the part other than the background part is printed by a white color 2", and image data 2' other than the area part are printed thereon. |
