PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impulse type heat sealer capable of shortening heating and cooling times to increase the number of times of sealing per a unit time. SOLUTION: The impulse type heat sealer is equipped with a pressure bonding lever 7, which has a pressure bonding part 10a for bonding the seal part Fa of a material F to be sealed under pressure, and a heating member 31, which has a heating part 31a for heating the seal part Fa of the material F to be sealed, and, in a pressure bonding acting process of the pressure bonding lever 7, the seal part Fa is held by the pressure bonding part 10a and the heating part 31a to seal the seal part Fa. A cooling member 40 for cooling the heating part 31 of the heating member 31 and a moving mechanism for making the heating member 31 movable from an initial position to a cooling position are provided and the heating member 31 is moved from the initial position to the cooling position in connection with the pressure bonding action of the pressure bonding lever 7 to be cooled at the cooling position by the cooling member 40. |
