PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of wear of the heel and the toe of a shoulder block. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided on a tread surface 2 with a shoulder block 6, divided by a tread edge E, an outer longitudinal groove 3b, and a shoulder block 6 and by providing on the side nearmost the tread edge E side with a longitudinal groove 3b extending peripherally of a tire on the tread edge E side and a lateral groove 4d interconnecting the longitudinal groove 3b and the tread edge E. The shoulder block 6 is divided into a main part 10 on the inner side in the axial direction of a tire and a side part 11 having width in the axial direction of the tire being narrow than that of the main part 10. The side part 11 is provided with a slope part 12 lowering toward the lateral groove 4d on at least one end side in the peripheral direction of the tire of its ground surface. |
