PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a level difference eliminator that functions also as a wheelchair lift, has no drive sources in itself and is usable as a trestle for a wheelchair because of lightness and compactness, and that is easily usable for many purposes of reasonably eliminating inconveniences that a lower limb-handicapped person who uses a wheelchair encounters in everyday activities. SOLUTION: Two parallel friction rollers are journaled on a platform on which a wheelchair is mounted, to support the driving wheels of the wheelchair. The rotation speed of the friction rollers is reduced by a reduction gear, and preferably, a reduction gear including a worm wheel to actuate a lifting and lowering mechanism for the platform. The lifting and lowering mechanism is suitably a pantograph mechanism.
