PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily discharge postprocessed sheets, and sufficiently match the sheets. SOLUTION: On a postprocessing tray 8, a pair of sheet supporting plates 13 are provided to get closer to/apart from each other, and as the sheet supporting plates 13 are moved in such directions as to get apart from each other, an opening C between them is enlarged for a bundle of the stacked sheets S to be speedily discharged onto a discharged sheet tray. The bundle of the sheets S placed on the postprocessing tray 8 are matched in a width direction by joggers 14. Since the cycle of reciprocating movement of each jogger 14 is changed, the sheets S are sufficiently matched without being caught in the opening C.
