PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating membrane tester with which the exchange of separating membranes and the disassembly of cells may be easily and rapidly carried out. SOLUTION: This separating membrane tester is internally mounted with the flat film-like separating membranes, passes a treating stock solution along the membrane surfaces of the separating membranes and tests the membrane performance of the separating membranes by using the cells 3 of a cross flow filtration system to filter the treating stock solution flowing in such a manner that permeate is permeated through the separating membranes. The separating membrane tester is provided with a first stand 30 as a stand which is disposed with circulating flow passages 4 as the flow passages of the treating stock solution for testing the separating membranes and is disposed with a plurality of cell mounting sections for freely attachably and detachably mounting the cells 3 in the circulating flow passages 4.
