PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type filtration dehydrating device capable of directly filtering a low concentration suspension without passing through a concentration process and effectively performing the squeezing out in the later stage, when the liquid content is decreased, to improve the recovery of a suspended material. SOLUTION: The screw type filtration dehydrating device formed by inserting a screw conveyer 11 into a center hole 10 of a cylindrical filter body 7 formed by arranging many groups of filter elements composed of an annular filter plate 2 and an annular movable plate 3 to be laminated, has a structure that plural pieces of one or both of the annular filter plates 2 and the annular movable plates 3 in each element in a squeeze dehydrating part are closely laminated so that the arrangement interval of separated water flow-out grooves 6 in the axial direction is formed to be smaller in the filter part and to be larger in the squeeze dehydrating part.
