PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the safety of operation by stopping the traveling motion of a combine when the operator is departed from the operation part during the traveling motion of the combine. SOLUTION: The combine is provided with a threshing apparatus 3 and the operation part 11 above a traveling body 2 having a traveling gear 1 and a reaping apparatus 8 and feeding transfer apparatus 10 having adjustable threshing depth in front of the threshing apparatus 3. The reaping apparatus 8 is composed of a grass dividing tool 4, a culm raising device 5, a reaping blade 6 and a reaping part transporting apparatus 7. The feeding transfer apparatus 10 receives the culm transferred to the delivery end of the reaping part transfer apparatus 7 of the reaping apparatus 8 and transfers to the feed chain 9 of the rear threshing apparatus 3. Each of the seat 11a and the step 11b of the operation part 11 is provided with operator detection means 12a, 12b to detect the presence of the operator and the traveling motion of the combine is stopped by a traveling motion stopping means 13 when the presence of operator is not detected by both of the operator detection means 12a and 12b.
