RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TREAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire tread capable of improving wear resistance and the performance on snow and ice, and capable of supressing hardning of rubber with a lapse of time. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire tread is produced by compounding glass fibers and at least one of carbon black and silica with 100 wt. parts of diene-type rubber, and further compounding 1-15 wt. parts of a powder of silicone rubber thereto.
