PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a mechanical stripping type burr remover for removing gas cut-off burr and gas cut-off slag after thermochemistrically cutting off a steel-made workpiece, such as a slab, a bloom and a billet, in the laterial direction and the longitudinal direction that in comparison with the already known pushing, hitting or shearing devices, the burr removing ratio is high, the cost is reduced and the maintenance service and the wear condition are good and desirable. SOLUTION: The burr removal is performed with the high burr removing ratio at a low cost and good and desirable maintenance service and wearing condition in comparison with the already known pushing, hitting and shearing devices, by using the device, machine and auxiliary device for stripping off the gas cut-off burr on the steel-made workpiece. The stripping-off process is continuously performed from a position to another position with a tool moved from the upper part to the lower part taking a suitable attitude while matching to any height position of the gas cut-off burr. |
