PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifouling agent which does not contain a heavy metal and is safe and effective, and to provide an antifouling coating. SOLUTION: This antifouling agent characterized by containing a synthetic resin, a natural resin, natural resin processed products or an oil or fat (a thiocyanate compound) which contains thiocyanate groups, and the antifouling coating containing the antifouling agent.
