PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letter for direct mail, wherein the opening probability is increased, can be manufactured with less labor and at a low cost, and also, is constituted in such a manner that a defective matching can be eliminated. SOLUTION: This letter comprises an envelope 1 and paper pieces 2A to 2D. In this case, the envelope 1 is constituted by bonding three edges of an envelope upper paper 3 and an envelope lower paper 4 opposite to each other. The paper pieces 2A to 2D are enclosed in the envelope, and are formed in a manner to be located on the inner side than an approximate U-shape bonding section 17. At the same time, the paper pieces 2A to 2D are bonded along the other edge of the envelope 1 in a manner to be integrated with the envelope 1 under a state wherein one-side edges of the paper pieces 2A to 2D are made to meet the other edge of the envelope 1. Then, window sections 7 and 9 for visually checking information listed on the paper pieces 2A to 2D are provided on the envelope 1.
