PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting hook that can ensure a smooth and reliable insertion and withdrawal of a hook member and safe work. SOLUTION: A hook support member 13 has a passing portion 24 where a hook member 12 is passed, and has in an independent manner a turning shaft 39 about which the hook member 12 is turned relative to the hook support member 13, and a support shaft 38 by which the hook member 12 in a suspended position is supported on the hook support member 13.
