GROUT COMPOSITION FOR STABILIZING AND STRENGTHENING BEDROCK, GROUND, ARTIFICIAL STRUCTURE, OR THE LIKE, AND STABILIZING, STRENGTHENING AND WATER-STOPPING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grout composition for stabilizing and strengthening which enables stabilizing, strengthening, and water-stopping of bedrock, ground, and artificial structures; and to provide a stabilizing, strengthening, and water- stopping method using the same. SOLUTION: This grout composition comprises (A) an aqueous sodium silicate solution and (B) an organic polyisocyanate composition having a viscosity at 25 deg.C of 100 mPa.s or lower. The molar ratio of silicon dioxide to sodium oxide in the aqueous sodium silicate solution (A) is 2-5. The organic polyisocyanate composition (B) contains (B1) a polyisocyanate and (B2) a monoester compound which is obtained from an aliphatic monocarboxylic acid and a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and has a number average mol.wt. of 150-500. The composition may further contain (C) an amine catalyst, (D) an active-hydrogen compound, and (E) a surfactant.
