PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure by eliminating driving of a stopper to stop a container on a carrier line. SOLUTION: This container transfer device is furnished with a carrier line 3 to carry the container 1 finished with a sampling process to storage parts 4a, 4b,press levers 11a, 11b provided at a position corresponding to the storage parts 4a, 4b and feed the container 1 on the carrier line 3 to the storage parts 4a, 4b by pushing it out, the stoppers 41a, 41b integrally provided on the press levers 11a, 11b and to stop the container 1 on the carrier line 3 at a position facing the storage parts 4a, 4b and a driving means 17 to move the press levers 11a, 11b to take a position where the stoppers 41a, 41b are drawn in from the carrier line 3, a position where the stopper 41a, 41b are projected on the carrier line 3 and a position to push the container 1 out to the storage parts 4a, 4b.
