PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting a box and a device for cutting a box that can be adapted for either a difference in height of boxes or differences in thickness of boxes and can perform an accurate judgment of adjoining segments (edge portions of the box) along adjacent ridges of the boxes. SOLUTION: Copying elements 3, 4 having bent segments are fixed to a cutting unit supporting segment 24 having a cutting blade 20 fixed thereto.
