PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at solving shortage of hands in agriculture through saving fertilizing labor and eliminating loss caused by the labor saving, thereby increasing profit. SOLUTION: The objective fertilizer is provided in view of that a recently developed coated urea fertilizer can set up the number of days before being eluted into water, if the fertilizer is not eluted into water during rice nursery period, it causes no concentration trouble to seedlings even if being put in a seedling box, and since the total amount of (A) a coated urea fertilizer to adjust the effect of regular rice paddy fertilizer required in a regular rice paddy is less than 30 wt.% of seedbed soil, (B) a highly effective granular fertilizer obtained through adding a seedbed fertilizer to zeolite powder is used, instead of regular seedbed soil, so as to make healthy seedlings with good air permeability. As a result of using this fertilizer, seedlings are brought into the soil of an agricultural field with taking root when the seedlings are transplanted with a rice transplanter, thus fertilizing labor can be saved.
