PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permselective hollow fiber membrane which is capable of enhancing the removal of hazardous materials of a middle and high molecular weight region ofβ2-microglobulin, or the like, in blood dialysis and blood filtration dialysis and the obstruction of the leakage of useful materials, such as albumin. SOLUTION: This permselective hollow fiber membrane is a hollow fiber membrane which has permselectivity and is partly or wholly composed of the aggregate of polymer particles. The ratio of the average polymer particle sizes in the wet state and dry state of the surface of the hollow fiber membrane to be brought into contact with liquid to be treated is >=1.1 and the average polymer particle sizes in the wet state of the surface of the hollow fiber membrane to be brought into contact with a liquid to be treated is 50 to 250 nm.
