PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic case enabling a lid to be fixed in place by use of a foldable brush, while preventing bending of the bristles of the brush that are separately connected to the inside of a body. SOLUTION: The cosmetic case includes the body with a hollow portion formed in the upper portion thereof which can accommodate predetermined amounts of contents, and with a brush storage opening formed inside the lower portion thereof which allows a brush to be stored; a lid openably hinged to the upper side of the body with a see-through window formed in the center thereof to allow the contents to be checked with the naked eye, the lid having an insertion groove in its upper side opposed to its hinged part to allow a portion of the brush being folded to be caught therein, to close the hollow portion; and a protective cap for protecting the bristles while moving in such a manner as to encase the bristles and the handle of the brush. The brush is stored in the brush storage opening of the body, with a portion of the brush folded and caught in the lid to couple the body to the lid.
