PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tear off a pressure sensitive adhesive tape by picking a folding-back part by forming the folding-back part having a non-adhesive outside surface in an end part of the pressure sensitive adhesive tape so as to eliminate the necessity of peeling off and raising up the end part of the stuck pressure sensitive adhesive tape by a nail. SOLUTION: In this folding-back device 7 for forming a folding-back part Te having the non-adhesive outside surface in the end part of the pressure sensitive adhesive tape T, the device has a freely advancing/retreating pin 36 for piercingly advancing from the non-adhesive surface side to a pressure sensitive adhesive tape travel passage R, a freely advancing/retreating cutting tool 31 entering a pressure sensitive adhesive tape travel passage T by leaving a folding-back expected area Ra extending to the rear of the pressure sensitive adhesive tape travel passage T from an advancing place of the pin 36 and a freely advancing/retreating folding-back tool 37 advancing toward a folding-back receiving area Rb being the opposite side of the folding-back expected area Ra by passing through the folding-back expected area Ra from the non-adhesive surface side. A folding-back expected part Tf of the pressure sensitive adhesive tape T held by the pierced pin 36 is folded back, and is stuck to a folding-back receiving part Tg to form a folding-back part Te.
